Cohen, Schiff & Neun Trial Update from Cindy Neun

Federal Mafia Strikes Back!

The Jury Need to Understand Their Job!

I think that letting the trial slow down is not a bad thing. A fast pace in the trial only works to strengthen the trained litigator's hand. He or she does this all the time. Why play to their strength?

Maybe, use a few objections, or perhaps, an interlocutory appeal to find out why the judge may be ruling in a manner that is not understood.

The jury will need sometime to understand the issues. This may help them get out of the "rubber stamp" frame of mind.

Larken Rose's trial was fast. Al Thompson's trial was fast.

Be careful in matching speed with atrained litigator.

Lynne Meredith's trial dragged on for months, and she still lost on all counts.
